Le fototrappole o Scout-Trail Cam in inglese sono dei sistemi in grado di fotografare o riprendere tramite video senza l'ausilio di alcuna persona fisica il passaggio di animali in determinati punti previo posizionamento della fototrappola in questione.
Le immagini o i video non sono nitidi e precisi come quando utilizziamo una Reflex ma le foto scattate dalle fototrappole ci permettono di invididuare le specie più elusive presenti nei nostri boschi.

Scoutcam or Trailcam are remote system that allow the owner to take photos or to record video without the presence of an operator.
So you can have particular point of view of a trail or a path where you think animal are present.
Unfortunately obviously,you have not the clearness of an image taken by a reflex.
I think they are very important in order to know the behaviour of wildlife animals without the human contact.
